Radiographic Testing

Radiography Testing work uses penetrating aveforms commonly known as ‘rays’, produced by either x-ray generator or gamma radiation. These rays can pass, absorb and scatter through matter and eventually produce an image in a medium (film) all radiographs.

Penetrant Testing

Dye Penetrant Testing is a method that is used to reveal surface breaking flaws by bleed-out of a coloured or fluorescent dye from the flaw visible only through contrast penetrant or ultraviolet light.

Ultrasonic Testing

This technique uses varying high frequency and sound energy to conduct examination and measurement. It works through pulse waves launched into materials to detect internal flaws, to determine the thickness of the test object and to monitor pipe work corrosion.

Services

Magnetic Particle Testing

Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI) uses magnetic fields and small magnetic particles like iron filings to detect flaws in components. The only requirement from an inspection standpoint is that the component being inspected must be made of a ferromagnetic material that can be magnetized to a level that will allow the inspection to be effective.

Magnetic Flux Leakage

This is a method of NDT that uses electromagnetism to detect corrosion and pitting in steel structures.

Visual Testing is used in conjunction with all NDT methods and is used to control open surface flaw. This is known as the starting point of all Non-Destructive Testing.
